By creating an account or using Stillago, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. We may update these terms from time to time and will notify you of significant changes via email.
Stillago is a tool that helps business owners create an emergency operations manual. It guides you through documenting the critical information someone would need to keep your business running if you're suddenly unavailable. It is not a legal document, a will, or a substitute for professional legal or financial advice.
You're responsible for keeping your account secure. We use passwordless authentication (magic links sent to your email), so your account is only as secure as your email account. Don't share your magic links with anyone. You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
You own everything you put into Stillago. Your manual content, your business information, your data — it's all yours. We don't claim any rights to it. We store and encrypt it to provide the service, but we never use your content for anything else. You can export or delete your data at any time.
Use Stillago for its intended purpose: creating your business emergency operations manual. Don't use it to store illegal content, distribute malware, attempt to access other users' data, or abuse the service in any way. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines.
When you share emergency access with someone, you're granting them read-only access to your complete manual. You are responsible for choosing who to share this access with. Stillago is not responsible for how your emergency contact uses the information in your manual.
We work hard to keep Stillago available, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. We may need to take the service down temporarily for maintenance or updates. We'll try to give notice when possible, but sometimes things break unexpectedly.
Stillago is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will meet your specific requirements. The information you store in Stillago is only as accurate and current as you make it — we can't verify or validate your manual content.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stillago and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
You can stop using Stillago and delete your account at any time from the Settings page. We may also terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms. If we terminate your account, we'll provide a 30-day window for you to export your data before it's permanently deleted, unless the termination is due to a severe violation.
